First Volunteers of America Donation Drop-Off Center Opens in Pickerington
Donate your gently used goods, or make an Ohio car donation
On Nov. 24, Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its first-ever donation drop-off center in Ohio. The drop off center, located in Pickerington, is designed to allow members of the community to easily donate gently used items and help homeless veterans, families and individuals with disabilities get back on their feet. Donations will also help support all of the services Volunteers of America provides to those in need across Ohio.
What we need
Our drop off location will be taking the following items:
Coats and jackets
Pots and pans
Kitchen utensils (silverware and serving pieces)
Small appliances (toasters, microwaves, etc.)

Please bring items that aren’t damaged and are in fairly good condition.

Make an Ohio car donation
Did you know we accept more than you’ll see at our thrift stores? If you have an extra vehicle that’s just collecting dust, donate it to Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio. We’ll arrange free same-day towing for almost anything with a motor, including tractors, boats, trucks, RVs and motorcycles. You might even end up making more off of your vehicle as a tax-deductible donation than you would from selling it on Craigslist.
Remember, your donations will help families, children, and veterans in all of the Ohio communities we serve.
If you have any questions, contact the Car Donation & Auction Office at 614-870-7511, or fill out the car donation form.
