Lucky Thrift Store Shopper Walks Away with Signed Picasso
One regular Volunteers of America Thrift Store Shopper had a very lucky shopping day. On one of his trips to the thrift store, he picked up what seemed to be an original Picasso print in the Volunteers of America Thrift Store on Indianola Avenue in Columbus for just $14.14. Turns out, he was right. The print sold for $7,000.
Home Depot® Pledges Funds for Homeless Vets
The Home Depot® Foundation has pledged $30 million over three years to address veterans’ housing issues. This includes a three-year partnership with Volunteers of America nationwide. Locally, Volunteers of America has received nearly $30,000 in Home Depot® grants to support projects at our veterans housing and employment programs in Cleveland, Columbus and Dayton.- View more ...
