Volunteers of America works to prevent unemployment and underemployment through a range of training and employment services. Our programs include adult literacy, computer centers, work experience programs, counseling, job placement and supportive employment.

Job-readiness and training services to help veterans find and maintain viable employment 
The goal for each veteran is self-sufficiency through long-term employment. Services include: job-readiness skill development; résumé writing; job searching, placement and coaching; career clothing; transportation assistance; and referrals to community resources.

Contracting with Greater Cleveland manufacturers for skilled jobs such as assembly, packaging and inspection, the Veterans Workforce Training Program is a supportive employment program striving to provide realistic, productive job development opportunities. When companies contract with us, they are helping veterans take pride in their work and gain the skills they need to move into permanent, competitive employment.
